Join your fellow psychologists at the California Psychological Association's 2009 Annual Convention in Oakland, California (San Francisco Bay Area).
The theme of the convention is "Psychology-A Leadership Profession" and
you're sure to find speakers and sessions that will interest you!
Come early-on Thursday, April 16th-for one of the four Advanced Level Continuing Education Institutes. Our invited experts will present a full day of in-depth training in four areas: Assessment, Forensics Training Institutes, Neuropsychology and Leadership. Don't miss this new learning opportunity! The opening reception and presentation on Thursday evening offers an opportunity to network with colleagues and show your appreciation for our award recipients before the evening convention sessions.
The exceptional level of education continues on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The opening plenary session-Taking Charge of Our Future as Psychologists - California and Beyond-will challenge you to consider the future of our profession and your role in defining it. Meet Google's John Boyd, PhD, co-author (with Phil Zimbardo, PhD) of The Time Paradox: the New Psychology of Time That Will Change Your Life, at the Saturday luncheon.
And stay with us on Sunday for a morning of more outstanding educational sessions as well as a closing plenary session (new for 2009). You can head home on Sunday afternoon energized by what you have learned!
