Daniel J. Siegel, MD, Executive Director, Mindsight Institute, Co-Director of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center and Co-Investigator of UCLA Center for Culture, Brain, and Development.

Dr. Daniel Siegel will examine the questions "What is the Mind?" and "how can we create a Healthy Mind?" Dr. Siegel will offer a working definition of the mind and practical implications for how to perceive and strengthen the mind itself a learnable skill called "mindsight." He will then explore how psychotherapy influences the mind, the brain and our relationships.
