Cross Cultural Neuropsychology: An Overview


Presented by: Dr. Shelley Peery

Dr. Peery is a neuropsychologist, Chair of the Culture and Diversity Committee of the National Academy of Neuropsychology and Past Secretary of the Hispanic Neuropsychological Society. Bilingual in Spanish, she is a specialist in cross-cultural neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Peery will present some neuropsychological instruments designed for use with Spanish speakers in order to illustrate ways assessment varies when working with the highly heterogeneous population of Latino/as in the Bay Area.
