Description: This webinar will address key strategies to help smokers with asthma to quit. The relationship between asthma and smoking is a significant concern among health professionals. Asthma disproportionately affects smokers. Tobacco smoke is one of the most common asthma triggers and can increase the severity of attacks. Secondhand smoke is also a risk factor for new cases of asthma, especially among preschool aged children who have not already exhibited asthma symptoms. The following continuing education credits are being offered for this course: CA BBS, APA, CCAPP, CAADE, and CME. Register online at http://hubs.ly/H02NNQC0.
