    Employee Engagement is an increasingly vast and important topic in business today. Employment engagement is part of a value chain where engaged employees lead to increased productivity, quality, and innovation, resulting in higher retention, customer loyalty, sales, and profit. Leadership, meaningful work, trust, autonomy, and community all play key roles in the strengthening of engagement. Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs helps us understand how basic human needs relate directly to our experience and productivity in the workplace. Overall, business has shifted and the need to understand business on the human level has become crucial for the growth and success of organizations.
