CPAGS 2018 Cross Cultural Conference

This exciting event offers insights into our roles as Psychologists in safeguarding the rights, mental healthcare, and dignity of populations who have had to hide in order to get by—namely members of the trans-spectrum community as well as immigrants, citizens without documentation, and refugees. We will examine ways in which we can use our educational and professional privileges to advance socially responsible and psychologically informed outreach to these communities through research, public policy advocacy, clinical mental healthcare, and in navigating the legal system.
