The mission of Early Career Psychologist (ECP) Committee of California Psychological Association (CPA) is to facilitate the leadership development of ECPs within CPA, and is committed to providing a strong voice for ECP members in the association. The purpose of the Committee is to advocate on behalf of CPA’s ECP members, develop programs and services unique to the needs of ECPs, actively recruit and seek participation of ECPs who represent diversity in all activities, programs, committees, and task forces, and facilitate the transition of CPAGS members to ECP members.
In an effort to evaluate and improve the services to ECPs, the ECP Committee invites you to take part in a focus group on September 17, 2016 from 10 to 11.30 am. The purpose of this group is to discuss the concerns of ECPs, determine what type of support ECPs need from CPA, and what challenges ECPs experience.
ECPs are encouraged to attend this focus group either in person at the CPA office in Sacramento, or virtually via GoToMeeting. Your views will be used to help CPA determine top challenges faced by ECPs and how best CPA can support you as you begin your career as a psychologist.
