The mission of CPA’s division of Clinical and Professional Practice (Division I) is to be the most powerful voice to promote and advocate for the professional practice of psychology.

 Benefits of Division membership include:

    • Advocacy programs
    • Coordination with CPA’s statewide grassroots legislative network
    • The Expertise Series, a series of in-depth professional papers on critical practice areas and issues
    • One hour per year of free, confidential attorney consultation regarding professional issues.
    • Quarterly online newsletter.

A major goal is to strengthen the role of psychology as a cutting edge primary health care profession and to support clinical psychologists in independent practice in becoming primary health care practitioners of the future.
