Full Members must (1) hold a Doctorate in Psychology, (2) be licensed as a psychologist in the State of California, or (3) be a Diplomat of the American Board of Professional Psychology. (For the purposes of determining CPA member status, Licensed Educational Psychologists are accepted on the same basis as Licensed Psychologists.) There is a three-year graduated dues schedule: 1st year: $148; 2nd year: $251; 3rd year and on: $377.
New Early Career/New Doctorates must meet the same membership requirements as full Members, except they will have received their Doctorate either in 2015 or 2016. Those meeting this requirement receive a discount off Member dues. Dues are $81.

Associate members are persons who hold a Master's Degree in Psychology or the equivalent. (If you are a matriculating student, you may apply as a student.) Dues are $202.
Student full members are currently enrolled in a PhD, PsyD, or EdD, Psychology program, or who are engaged in a postdoctoral psychology training program within a clinic, hospital, industrial or university setting. This does not include students enrolled in an MFT or SW graduate program. Dues are $46.
Student associate members are currently enrolled in a psychology program leading to a MA or MS degree in psychology or closely related field. CPAGS Associate members share equivalent rights and advantages of CPAGS Full members though they may not vote or serve in an elected leadership role within CPAGS. Dues are $41.
Out-of-state members shall include all persons who meet the membership requirements but who live outside the state of California and wish to participate in CPA. Dues are $148.
Affiliate members shall consist of those persons with an interest in psychology such as, but not limited to, certified para professionals, members of allied professions, high school teachers of psychology, or members of the general public with an interest in psychology. Dues are $148.
If you are not a member of CPA but would like to attend our convention or one of our CE events as a non-member, this is how we can keep track of your attendance, your CE credits, and your attendance certificates. We will ask for sufficient contact information so that if we need to, we can let you know about any last minute changes or handouts. You will not receive an invoice.
