Integrated care settings and programs are emerging in greater numbers each year as the health system works towards improving patient outcomes by breaking down silos of care. This webinar will provide an overview of the core competencies of health psychologists and other mental health professionals needed to be successful in integrated care settings. Competencies include clinical content areas, communication skills, program development skills, team skills and temperamental traits which have been found to be essential in integrating behavioral health professionals onto medical teams.
