This opposition in my view was a mistake. Further, the CPA should instead oppose the wholesale rush to affirm the ideology of Comprehensive Sexuality Education forcing teachers to agree with troubled and confused children who think they might belong to the wrong sex. As psychologists, we should understand how immature children's brains are and resist propelling kids toward a lifelong path of medicalization and guaranteed sterility!
