Where Will the Event Take Place?

The Citizen Hotel, 926 J Street, Sacramento, California, 95814, just blocks away from the Capitol Building.

Legislative Office Visits

Contact with your legislators is an essential step in the advocacy process. By meeting with your State Senators and Assemblymembers, or their staff, you can open the door to an ongoing and productive relationship. In many cases, our members have become a source of expertise that their elected officials refer to for additional information or research. For your convenience, CPA staff will be scheduling all appointments and will match you with the State Legislators from your area.

The California Psychological Association of Graduate Students (CPAGS) may offer travel stipends to students who are interested in attending Lobby Day.  Please contact CPAGS for a travel stipend.

CPA Reimbursements

CPA is unable to reimburse for any travel/ancillary costs incurred to attend Lobby Day.
