CPA Convention

04/4/2019 to 4/7/2019  The event everyone looks forward to, the CPA Convention!  This year it’s at the Hilton in Long Beach, includes special events for students, and is still the best and most entertaining way to network with your peers and expand your knowledge. Connect with other students to carpool and/or share accommodations.Just think – once you’ve graduated, it could cost over $300 to attend.  As a student, you could attend for free just by volunteering!! Registration will open on November 6, 2018.

State Leadership and Advocacy Conference and Leadership and Advocacy Day (LAD)- Presented by CPA every March in Sacramento, students join professionals in meeting with state representatives to advocate for our profession. An amazing experience that will change your outlook on advocacy! Registration will open soon.

Annual CPAGS Events

Cross-Cultural Conference (CCC) - Organized by CPAGS and held around late January or early February, this one day conference combines speakers, presentations, and activities focused on integrating cultural diversity and social justice into our daily work. Join our email list to get updates as they happen!

Leadership and Advocacy Day is a great opportunity to work with the psychologists and graduate students of CPA to learn about legislative advocacy and lobby on behalf of Psychology.  The event is held in Sacramento and attendance is free for students.  CPAGS even offers travel stipends so students from all over California can attend.
